Find missing records
See records that appear in one export but not the other. This is useful when checking invoice lists, customer records, inventory snapshots, payment exports, operational logs, or any recurring report that should stay aligned.
Verify business data
Compare two business exports and find missing records, changed values, duplicate keys, and numeric discrepancies. Reconcile is built for recurring exports where the rows should agree but the files come from different dates, systems, teams, or workflow stages.
How Reconcile works
Choose an expected or earlier export as File A and an actual, newer, or second-system export as File B. Reconcile inspects the available columns, suggests likely record keys, and compares the files by the key you select. The result separates matching records from changed records and from rows that only exist in one file, so you can focus on the exceptions instead of reviewing thousands of rows manually.

Identify matched records whose shared fields changed between files. Reconcile also summarizes numeric discrepancies so amount, quantity, balance, and other measurable differences are easier to review.
Duplicate or missing key values can make a comparison misleading. Reconcile reports duplicate keys and helps you choose the columns used to line up records before producing the discrepancy report.
Example workflow
Use an invoice ID as the comparison key. Reconcile can show invoices that disappeared, new invoices that only exist in the later file, records whose amount or status changed, duplicate invoice IDs, and numeric movement across shared fields. Guest access can preview discrepancies; eligible PocketBI access can unlock the complete discrepancy CSV when available.
Processing boundary
Reconcile does not merge the two files or overwrite your source exports. It produces a deterministic comparison result and discrepancy report so you can decide what should be corrected upstream. Files are sent to the Reconcile comparison service for the request and are not copied into the PocketBI control plane. For repeatable cleanup before comparison, use PocketClean; for broader analysis and visualization after verification, continue into PocketBI or PocketViz.
