bIDE Privacy Policy
Effective August 11, 2026
This policy applies to bIDE, the browser-based IDE available at bideide.com and presented as a PocketBI product.
Local browser mode
bIDE can run core coding workflows in the browser. Local projects, editor state, and preferences may be stored in browser storage such as localStorage or IndexedDB. When cloud services are not configured or not used, local-mode project contents remain in the browser environment except where a user intentionally exports or shares them.
Code execution
Supported runtimes may execute code in the browser through technologies such as WebAssembly. Code and datasets used in those local runtimes are not routinely sent to a bIDE server merely to execute the local workflow.
Accounts and cloud features
If optional account, cloud-save, sharing, usage-management, or subscription features are enabled, bIDE may process information such as email address, account identifiers, project metadata, shared content, and entitlement information through service providers used to operate those features.
AI features
AI-assisted coding, translation, explanation, or data-advisor features may send the prompt, code, error text, or other content you intentionally submit to the configured AI service in order to generate a response. Do not submit confidential information unless you are authorized to do so.
Payments
If paid web plans are enabled, payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider. bIDE does not need your full payment-card number to provide IDE functionality.
Website logs and service providers
Standard hosting infrastructure may process IP address, browser/device information, request metadata, and timestamps needed to deliver and secure the service. Service providers process information as needed to provide their functions.
Sale, advertising, and tracking
bIDE does not sell project source code or datasets for targeted advertising. If analytics, advertising, or tracking practices materially change, this policy will be updated.
Retention and deletion
Local browser data can generally be removed by deleting projects or clearing browser storage. For information associated with optional online accounts or support requests, contact support to ask about deletion where applicable.
